Celebrating Excellence in Kitchen and Bath Design
The kitchen and bath design industry is constantly evolving, and young professionals like Taylor Walker are shaping the future with innovation, craftsmanship, and passion. Taylor, a lead designer at Greenbrook Design, has been named to the prestigious NKBA Thirty Under 30 Class of 2025, which honors the best young talent in custom kitchen design, bathroom design, and cabinetry solutions.
Her journey, rooted in family tradition and fueled by creative expertise, has positioned her as a leading figure in interior design, especially in the realm of modern cabinets and custom cabinetry.
A Legacy in Custom Cabinetry & Kitchen Design
Taylor’s passion for custom kitchen design and cabinetry craftsmanship was inspired by her father, who founded Walker Woodworking, a well-respected local cabinetry company known for its high-quality custom work. Growing up in the workshop, Taylor sincerely appreciated cabinet makers and the artistry behind custom cabinetry.
She continues that legacy today by designing stunning kitchens and bathrooms that seamlessly blend style, function, and superior craftsmanship. From modern cabinets to timeless traditional designs, Taylor ensures every project reflects innovative kitchen design, focusing on custom, furniture-grade cabinetry.
Transforming Spaces with Custom Kitchen & Bathroom Design
At Greenbrook Design, Taylor’s work transcends mere aesthetics, delving deep into the art and science of creating beautiful, functional spaces that reflect each client’s unique vision and lifestyle. With a specialization in high-end custom cabinetry, kitchen remodels, and bathroom renovations, she is dedicated to helping clients achieve not just their ideal living areas but also a sense of personal sanctuary within their homes.
Taylor brings a wealth of expertise to her projects, mastering everything from modern cabinet layouts that embrace sleek minimalism to traditional custom kitchen designs that celebrate the charm of classic craftsmanship. She understands that each design choice must not only enhance the beauty of the space but also promote efficiency, ensuring that the kitchen and bathroom are as practical as they are visually appealing. Her designs often serve as a perfect blend of functionality and style, allowing families to enjoy their spaces to the fullest.
Meticulous attention to detail is a hallmark of Taylor’s approach. She meticulously integrates cutting-edge technology into her kitchen designs, allowing for innovative features that simplify daily tasks and elevate the user experience. Yet, she maintains a deep appreciation for handcrafted cabinetry, often collaborating with skilled artisans to create pieces that are not only functional but also create a narrative within the home.
A highlight of Taylor’s career includes the prestigious opportunity to design the kitchen for Seven Gables, a National Historic Preservation Home. This project stands out not just as a personal achievement, but also as a testament to her ability to honor history while seamlessly incorporating modern functionality. She approached the renovation with great respect for the home’s storied past, ensuring that her designs complemented its character while updating the space for contemporary living.
Taylor remains committed to continuing her quest for inspiration, always seeking out new trends, techniques, and materials. She believes that every project is unique and deserves a tailored approach, allowing her client’s individual tastes and requirements to shine through in every design solution. Through this dedication to excellence, Taylor at Greenbrook Design consistently creates extraordinary spaces that transform the way her clients live and interact with their homes.

Walker WoodworkingLight is one of nature’s most captivating elements, and its presence has the power to transform a space. In the world of interior design, natural light plays a vital role—not only by enhancing aesthetics but also by elevating the overall atmosphere of a room. It can create dramatic contrasts that bring depth and interest to a space, while also highlighting architectural and design features.
Natural light, when thoughtfully incorporated, makes interiors feel larger, warmer, and more welcoming. At Greenbrook Design, we embrace a design approach known as daylighting—the intentional use of natural light to shape how a space looks and feels throughout the day. It’s one of our favorite tools in the design process.
Here are just a few reasons why we love incorporating natural light into our projects…
Walker WoodworkingRugs have long been a staple in interior design, often described as the “shoes” of a room—they complete the look. Whether subtly complementing a color palette or boldly standing out as a statement piece, rugs add warmth, texture, and personality to any space. A well-chosen rug can effortlessly transform the entire feel of a room.
However, traditional rugs come with their share of drawbacks. From frequent deep cleaning (which often means renting equipment and moving heavy furniture) to concerns about allergies and curled edges that pose tripping hazards, maintaining a rug can be more work than many homeowners anticipate.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce an elegant, low-maintenance alternative: Vintage Vinyl floor cloths.
In today’s tech-savvy world, it’s easy to find decorating tips and budget advice with just a few clicks. Popular shows on networks like HGTV make home remodeling look fast and effortless—transforming entire kitchens or bathrooms in under an hour. While these shows are inspiring, what often goes unseen is the extensive planning and detail required behind the scenes to bring those transformations to life.
At the heart of nearly every successful project is one key factor: staying on budget.

GreenbrookMoe’s Home Collection is, today, one of our greatest finds at the High Point Furniture Market. Three years ago, we stumbled across Moe’s during one of our twice-annual trips to High Point. We fell in love with their rustic, industrial modern furniture and home decor.
