Kitchen Perimeter
Crafted from paint-grade maple using an inset build method, the cabinetry is custom-made by Walker Woodworking in Shelby, NC. Finished in a crisp Designer White Satin and styled with the timeless Shelby door profile, the result is a refined, clean aesthetic that complements the open kitchen layout.
Ambient and task-ready LED lighting enhances both functionality and mood, highlighting the room’s purposeful features. Signature elements such as a built-in coffee bar, roll-out drawers, a concealed paper towel holder, and a custom-designed hood elevate daily routines into moments of ease and enjoyment.
With its smooth flow, personalized details, and focus on connectivity, this kitchen isn’t just a place to cook—it’s the heart of a home designed for gathering, living, and sharing.
Kitchen Island
Walnut the choice for the island, due to its combination of beauty, durability, and versatility.
All cabinetry is custom-built by Walker Woodworking, with standout details like decorative outlet covers and an accent island crafted from rich walnut. Continuing the warmth and contrast, all drawer boxes and custom inserts—including a silverware drawer, utensil organizer, knife block, and pan divider—are also walnut.
Why choose walnut?
Aesthetic Appeal: Walnut has a naturally rich, dark tone with unique grain patterns that add warmth and sophistication. It contrasts beautifully with lighter painted finishes like Designer White, making it a favorite for accents like islands and drawer interiors.
Durability: Walnut is a strong, stable hardwood, making it ideal for cabinet drawers, inserts, and structural components that need to withstand regular use.
Luxury Touch: Because of its cost and high-end look, walnut is associated with premium, custom-built cabinetry, often reserved for statement features or interior drawer finishes that surprise and delight.
