Green is a calm and harmonious color making it a wonderful choice for this kitchen design. Its soothing presence compliments the white perimeter and creates a welcome environment for the whole family to enjoy.

Objective: Design an open kitchen with a narrow island that allows easy traffic flow on either side.
The choice to place an island in the center of the kitchen means it can be used on both sides plus it forms the perfect buffet line. It is also fully equipped with drawers giving the homeowners maximum storage and ease of access for everyone. Both kitchen walls enjoy custom cabinets and serve multiple functions from cooking to rinsing food and dishes. Careful thought for placement was used with all of the cooking appliances located on one side and the sink and dishwasher on the other. Pocket doors were also used for one of the cabinets that stores small appliances including the coffee maker. Roll-out drawers made from cherry wood are located directly underneath where coffee mugs and accessories could be placed. Paneled appliances blend seamlessly into the design and keep the aesthetic perfect.
