Remodel Project – Shelby, NC
Objective: Design a kitchen with sufficient storage and organization options to keep it looking clean and neat.
Kitchen organization is key to keeping any space running smoothly and efficiently. As the heart of the home, it is safe to say that this is one of the busiest areas which means it is important to keep it clutter free. This project showcases the beauty of what custom can do for you and your family by having a place for everything.
Kitchen Perimeter
From roll-outs to pull-outs this kitchen has everything you could ever need to make sure it stays organized. Every area was designed with maximum usage in mind allowing the homeowners to know where their things are and within easy reach. On either side of the range there are pull-outs with canisters to store dry items such as flour and sugar plus another for large utensils. The cabinet next to the refrigerator is a convenient cleaning closet that is perfect for storing brooms and dusters.
Kitchen Island
A double trash can pull-out by the sink is the perfect location because you can prep your food and toss what needs to go without having to take a step. Some of the drawers located in the kitchen island feature a knife block and cutlery divider. There is also a full roll-out that provides sufficient storage for items such as additional food items and frequently used items. The kitchen island also has bonus storage tucked underneath the extended countertop.
