Remodel Project – Waxhaw, NC
Custom Cabinets by Walker Woodworking
Objective:
To reconfigure the space to better suit the needs of the homeowners and their love of cooking and
entertaining. The goal was to create a space that was unique in style, with custom cabinetry and interior details that
coordinated with their vision and the rest of the home.
Kitchen Perimeter
At the heart of the kitchen is a large, custom island that anchors the room with its substantial presence and multifunctional design. Topped with a stunning surface and framed by tailored cabinetry, the island serves as a gathering space, prep station, and design focal point all in one. Flanking the apron-front sink, floating shelves create an open, airy balance while adding an
artistic element to the overall composition.
