Kitchen Island Details
This custom kitchen island was designed to be both a statement piece and a hardworking centerpiece for everyday living. Built by Walker Woodworking, the cabinetry features quarter-sawn white oak constructed using the inset build method for a timeless, furniture-quality appearance. The Catawba door style adds classic character while showcasing the precision craftsmanship that defines custom cabinetry.
Every detail was intentionally selected to enhance both beauty and function. The Kohler apron-front sink creates a focal point within the island, while decorative outlet covers, substantial corbels, and thick 3-inch countertops add depth, texture, and architectural interest. Decorative mullion end panels on both sides of the island elevate the design and reinforce the custom furniture aesthetic.
Functionality was equally important in the design process. A double 50-quart trash pull-out provides convenient organization for everyday use, while panel-ready appliances maintain a seamless cabinetry appearance. Push-latch doors offer clean lines and easy access, allowing the island to feel sophisticated yet highly practical for daily living.
Thoughtful details and intentional craftsmanship transform a custom kitchen island from simply functional to the true centerpiece of the home.

Master Bathroom Details
The bathroom should never feel disconnected from the bedroom—it should feel like a natural extension of the space. In this project, every detail was intentionally selected to create a seamless transition between comfort and luxury.
Crafted in Quarter Sawn White Oak using the inset cabinetry method, this vanity brings timeless craftsmanship and furniture-inspired design into the master bath. The custom finish, a blend of Rubio Intense Black and Havana, adds warmth, depth, and richness while complementing the mood of the adjoining bedroom. Decorative legs further enhance the furniture aesthetic, helping the space feel curated rather than purely functional.
When designers — whether interior designers or cabinet designers — thoughtfully connect materials, finishes, and proportions between spaces, the result is effortless harmony. A master bathroom should feel spa-like, relaxing, and restorative while still reflecting the personality and atmosphere of the bedroom it adjoins. This level of cohesion never happens by accident; it is intentional design at its finest.
Great kitchen design goes far beyond aesthetics — it is about creating intentional organization and storage solutions that make everyday life easier. Whether it is having a designated place for oversized grilling spatulas or keeping wine glasses within reach for a quick happy hour, every component was thoughtfully planned long before construction ever began.
Custom storage solutions throughout this kitchen were carefully designed around the homeowner’s lifestyle and daily routines. Large custom drawers provide durable storage for heavy pots and cookware, while specialized cabinetry keeps frequently used items organized and easily accessible. Thoughtful planning during the design phase ensures the kitchen not only looks beautiful but also functions effortlessly for years to come.
The pot filler above the range adds both convenience and visual balance, perfectly complementing the custom metal hood and creating a striking focal point within the space. Even the vent placement below the cabinetry was intentional—a detail determined early in the design process to preserve clean sightlines while maintaining functionality in this new construction home.
Exceptional kitchens are created when every detail, both seen and unseen, is considered from the very beginning.
