Remodel Project – Charlotte, NC

Kitchen Perimeter

This remodel blends timeless craftsmanship with custom function.

The kitchen perimeter is finished in Benjamin Moore White Dove, offering a soft, timeless backdrop for the custom details throughout. Above the refrigerator, a walnut V-groove open cabinet adds warmth and contrast. The upper cabinets feature glass fronts with the custom Crescent door style, while the base cabinets are a sleek slab front, known as the custom Concord door. Smart storage solutions include a utensil drawer, spice pull-out, warming drawer, and built-in knife block, making everyday tasks beautifully organized and easy to manage.

Black Kitchen Island

Rubio continues to remain a popular finish choice for cabinets, as its wide variety of colors means you can have a space that truly reflects your style. This kitchen island, made from quarter-sawn white oak, is finished in a black and Havana stain, which makes it a beautiful focal point. Plenty of room to sit and chat or eat at this beautifully crafted island. The finishing touches are the crisp white farm sink at this black kitchen island.

Wet Bar

The wet bar is crafted from pure walnut with a simple natural finish that lets the wood’s beauty speak for itself. The real standout? Leaded glass panes salvaged from a previous piece are now thoughtfully built into the new cabinetry for a touch of history and charm. A vessel sink makes rinsing glasses easy, while glass shelving keeps favorite bottles and barware on full display. Altogether, it’s a warm, inviting space that feels like the heart of the home.

Bathrooms

Objective:  Design a unique space for both the master bathroom and the guest power bathroom.

Master Bathroom – Makeup dividers, U-shaped roll-out drawers, mirror lighting, and a docking drawer are a few of the things that make this master bathroom an oasis for the homeowners. Everything they need to accomplish their daily routines is within reach, plus the space is fully maximizing the available square footage to the best advantage. The elegant glaze finish is another highlight in this bathroom, giving it a distinct look.

Guest Powder Room

Unique Features

Kitchen:

Built with an inset cabinet method, the kitchen features a quarter-sawn white oak island, a popular choice for its durability and striking grain. Practical details like a built-in knife block, double drawer storage, a farm sink, and touch latches make cooking and cleanup effortless while keeping the space clean and streamlined.

Master Bathroom:
Designed as a true retreat, the master bath includes makeup dividers, U-shaped roll-outs, mirror lighting, and a built-in docking drawer—all tailored for daily routines with everything in reach. The space is laid out to fully maximize every inch, and the elegant glazed finish adds a layer of sophistication and warmth.

Powder Room:
In the guest bath, mullion cabinet doors bring character and texture to the vanity, instantly drawing the eye. Paired with statement hardware and a light countertop, this small space makes a big impression with thoughtful design choices.
