Family Hunting Lodge – Smyrna, SC
Objective:
To design a contemporary hunting lodge that encapsulates the warmth of rustic wood finishes while integrating modern aesthetics.
The lodge will not only serve as a functional space for hunting enthusiasts but will also provide ample storage for firearms and bows alongside dedicated areas to showcase impressive displays of local wildlife. The goal is to harmoniously blend various styles, creating an equally practical and visually stunning family-friendly hunting lodge.
This beautifully crafted South Carolina hunting lodge exemplifies the perfect fusion of rustic charm and modern elegance. The use of quarter-sawn white oak throughout the space exudes a timeless quality, bringing the essence of nature indoors and contributing to a serene ambiance that can be enjoyed year-round. The grand scale of the open kitchen and living area ensures that gatherings of family and friends are comfortable and inviting, providing ample room for every hunter to celebrate and display their proudest achievements.
Spacious bedrooms, thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation, provide restful spaces for weary hunters after a day spent in the great outdoors. Multi-purpose spaces include a cozy den for storytelling and strategy discussions as well as a well-appointed work area where memories can be preserved through crafting and planning.
