Beautiful Cabinetry Makes Statement

New Construction – Asheville, NC

Walker Woodworking / Dura Supreme

Tucked away in the heart of the mountains, this Asheville home makes a stunning statement with its beautifully crafted cabinetry and thoughtful design. The kitchen, often called the heart of the home, is where family and friends naturally gather—drawn by the warmth of home-cooked meals, the glow of a candle, or simply the comfort of being together. Designed with both function and beauty in mind, this space blends practicality with mountain charm. Every detail, from the cabinetry to the layout, was created to make daily living easier and more enjoyable. This kitchen isn’t just a place to cook—it’s a place to live, connect, and create lasting memories.

Kitchen Island

Walker Woodworking

The centerpiece of this mountain kitchen is the stunning island, built with inset cabinets in rustic alder and finished in malt brown / 1514 AG glazed flat. A true blend of craftsmanship and character, it features a custom “X” style table extending from the island—a unique design element that adds both charm and function. This extension creates the perfect spot for casual dining, morning coffee, or gathering with friends while keeping the workspace open and inviting. Additional details such as mullion doors, an integrated knife block, and discreet outlet covers enhance the island’s practicality, while granite countertops complete the look with timeless durability and elegance.

Living Room Features

Designed with the same level of detail and craftsmanship as the kitchen, the living room cabinetry brings both style and functionality to the space. Built using Inset Cabinets and finished in Benjamin Moore–White Dove (Satin), the design offers a clean, timeless look that complements the home’s mountain charm. A mantle ledge provides a beautiful focal point above the fireplace, while a custom TV cabinet with a two-way mirror allows for seamless integration of technology without sacrificing aesthetics. Finished with Berenson hardware in an oil-rubbed bronze finish, these details come together to create a space that feels both elegant and comfortably lived-in.
