In this thoughtfully designed new construction home, no detail was overlooked, including the hardworking utility spaces. The main level modern laundry room and prep kitchen were both crafted with the same attention to style, function, and custom detail found throughout the rest of the home.

Modern Laundry Room – Main Level

Laundry Suite
This is no ordinary laundry room—this custom-designed laundry suite is a thoughtfully curated space that combines function, elegance, and efficiency.

It’s all in the details

Designed with daily routines in mind, it includes:

A concealed washer and dryer hidden behind custom cabinetry

A spacious folding counter and brass hanging rod for air-drying clothes

Ample storage solutions, including drawers, open cubbies, and tall cabinets

An accessible drop zone at the garage entrance makes it a perfect transition space

The deep navy cabinetry, finished in Farrow & Ball’s “Railings,” adds a dramatic yet calming tone. The Marion door style with satin brass hardware enhances the high-end feel, while woven door fronts and detailed millwork bring texture and charm. This modern laundry room blends utility with sophistication, proving that even the most functional rooms can be beautifully designed.

Prep Kitchen

Prep Kitchen / Scullery

Tucked directly behind the main kitchen, this prep kitchen is a highly functional scullery designed for seamless support during cooking and entertaining. Finished in a soft Farrow & Ball Light Blue, the space features inset cabinetry with tambour-style doors for a refined yet textural element.

Fully equipped for utility, it includes

  • Appliance panels
  • An apron-front sink
  • Single trash pull-out
  • Paneled Scotsman icemaker

Thoughtfully concealed yet stylishly finished, this hardworking space offers both practicality and continuity with the home’s overall design.

Upper Level Laundry Room

Upper Laundry Room

Designed with family functionality in mind, this upper-level laundry space is both practical and polished—a true workhorse for a home with kids. Built using the inset construction method, it features Carolina Slab doors finished in Farrow & Ball Bancha, a rich green that adds warmth and character.

Key features include

  • A Quarter Sawn White Oak wood top in Rubio White for folding and workspace
  • Double trash pull-out
  • A sleek brass hanging rod for air-drying or staging clothes

Thoughtfully designed, this laundry room combines utility with craftsmanship, making everyday chores feel a little more elegant.
