Remodel Project – Kings Mountain, NC
This project name highlights the deep, rich blue cabinetry that brings a serene yet bold character to the kitchen. “Haven” evokes the inviting, cozy atmosphere created by the open layout and warm wood accents. It’s a space designed for elegance and functionality—a haven for cooking, entertaining, and gathering.
The thoughtful design elements further enhance the kitchen’s overall aesthetic and practicality. The use of modern appliances seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry contrasts beautifully with the rustic charm of the wood accents. Ample natural light floods the space, thanks to strategically placed windows that invite the outdoors in, creating a harmonious balance between nature and design. This kitchen truly embodies the essence of a welcoming home, where culinary creativity thrives and memories are made around the table.
Kitchen – Fabuwood Cabinetry
This stunning kitchen remodel features expertly designed Fabuwood cabinetry by KBL & Greenbrook Design. A large-scale transformation, Fabuwood was the perfect choice for both style and functionality. What was once a white kitchen with red brick accents has been reimagined into a sophisticated space, showcasing rich Indigo blue lower cabinets beautifully contrasted by crisp Frost white uppers.
If you look closely, you’ll notice the upper and base cabinets feature different door profiles. This design choice is often based on storage needs, with less frequently used cabinets allowing for a more decorative profile. Mixing and blending door styles not only enhances functionality but also adds depth and visual interest to the kitchen. Ultimately, the selection comes down to the homeowner’s personal preference and style.
Kitchen Island
The kitchen island serves as a key element of the design, offering additional workspace, storage, and seating. This frameless Fabuwood cabinetry is thoughtfully crafted to maximize functionality while creating a stunning focal point in the space.
When designing a kitchen island, important factors to consider include:
- The overall size of the island
- The number of seats needed
- The distance between the island and surrounding cabinets or appliances
Combining both drawers and cabinets for optimal storage makes this island the most functional area of the kitchen.
