Stained wood never fails to make a beautiful statement; this project is no exception. White cabinets paired with a stained maple custom island make this kitchen one of a kind. Nearby a separate wet bar, made from cherry, means that drinks can be enjoyed while allowing the host to work unhindered in the kitchen. A custom guest bathroom vanity from a select alder gives the homeowners sufficient storage with style. No home would be complete without a laundry room, and this one has enough room to double as a place to keep larger or extra items neat and orderly. From kitchen to bathroom, this home is stunning and functional.
Kitchen
Objective: Design an functional open-concept kitchen that blends with the rest of the home’s style.
This kitchen is a beautiful example of mixing and matching cabinets to create a stunning, unified design. The stained maple island was custom-designed by Walker Woodworking, including a built-in microwave, peg drawers for storing dishes, and a unique cabinet on one end with notched pull drawers. The perimeter of the white kitchen was done using the Cabico Unique line. Even though the design incorporated two separate cabinet lines, the result was a truly striking and breathtaking kitchen.
Wet Bar & Guest Bathroom
Objective: Create an area in the home that is functional and reflects the homeowner’s design style.
The homeowners wanted to create a wet bar and beverage center near the kitchen but close to guests when they were relaxing in the living room. Cherry is a beautiful wood that worked well with the existing hardware they wanted to integrate. The floating shelves work perfectly with the striking backsplash, creating a nice, finished look.
Alder wood is the star of the custom guest bathroom vanity, complete with Bunn feet from Timber Wolf.
Laundry Room
Objective: Design an open kitchen with storage solutions that are easily accessible within all cabinets so they are both functional and beautiful using Walker Woodworking Frameless Cabinetry.
Medallion is one of our newer cabinet lines that we have added, and we are excited to showcase a project featuring their cabinets. The bright blue shade is perfect for this laundry room, a fresh, cheery color that makes doing multiple loads more enjoyable. There is no shortage of storage in this area, with both upper and lower cabinets.
