Navy Blue Produces Contrast

Blue continues to remain a popular color, especially in the kitchen. It is an inviting and comfortable shade, making everyone who enters feel at ease. The contrasting white cabinets surrounding the navy blue island give this space a stunning look while having everything necessary for a functional area. Whether you need a snack or want to cook a full meal, this kitchen has everything.

Kitchen

Objective:  Design a kitchen that is both functional and timeless with an island that has plenty of seating and storage.

Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy was the perfect choice for this unique kitchen island, with two air returns designed on one side and blended with a regular push latch door. Additional cabinets were on the other side underneath the amazing 5-foot Galley Workstation sink, a particular sink that provides the owner with the ability to wash, cut, and cook in one convenient location due to the tiers that allow for cutting boards, colanders, and such to slide over and under each other with ease.

The white perimeter cabinets are stunning against the black hardware from Top Knobs, and the puck lighting around the kitchen adds a soft touch. Additional lighting was included inside the glass door cabinets, showing off the beautiful dishes. White subway tile was perfectly highlighted using a dove gray grout, and the kitchen design was completed.
