Mountain View Hendersonville Home

A Unique Blend in Mountain Living

Light is the common thread in this beautiful mountain retreat. With countless windows throughout this spacious home, much light would inevitably be allowed inside. In interior design, light quickly gives a sense of warmth and welcome to any space and brings nature closer to us. While this is one large space, using pillars and beams breaks it into separate and functional spaces.

New Construction home has beautiful views inside and out!

Objective: To make a connection to the natural surroundings of this home. Creating space that blends rustic wood elements with contemporary mountain style by bringing the outdoors inside with windows and proper lighting.

Relaxation is the word that comes to mind with this home. The minimal yet beautiful interior design perfectly complements the natural outdoor surroundings, creating an oasis from the hustle and bustle of life. Contrast is another element at work; the blue island stands out against the light wood flooring, and the white walls make the perfect statement against the darker beams. Each space in the home has its unique style of elegance and rustic modern design, yet it all ties together beautifully.

Homeowners Questions & Answers:

Did you research other cabinet companies?

Yes! I went with Walker Woodworking because of its quality and excellent customer service. I didn’t have the same with other cabinet companies.

What are your “Must Haves”? (List top 3)

My unique style I couldn’t find anywhere else; my three must-haves were:

  • unique custom hood
  • perfect island
  • unique style lighting

Is this your forever home?

No, I’m working on another house to build and design in Belmont.

Favorite kitchen design feature?

Hood, but I love everything about this kitchen.

What was the biggest hurdle you had to overcome during the design/install of your project?

Everything went smoothly. My installers were awesome, they arrived on time and when I had a question it was answered immediately.

Several of your lights were sourced through Greenbrook Design. How was this experience?

I love my lighting! The unique look and cost were great, and customer service was on point.

Were lighting prices reasonable and comparable to other sources you have used?

Yes! The prices for my lighting were lower everywhere I shopped. And everywhere I shopped, I couldn’t find anything close to the styles at Greenbrook Design.

Is there anything you would have done differently?

No, my time and money were well spent! I love my entire home and design.

Is there anything we could have done differently to make your experience better?

All I experienced at Greenbrook Design and with Walker Woodworking was product and customer service excellence.

What would your score be if you had to rate Greenbrook Design for an overall satisfaction grade? 10 = highest – 1 lowest.
