HOSPICE CLEVELAND COUNTY – A booth will be set up for Hospice to sell raffle tickets for their diamond watch give-a-way.

9th Annual Rhythm & Roots Run

Location: Don Gibson Theatre located at 318 South Washington St, Shelby, NC
Live music begins at 8:00 a.m. with a banjo tribute to kick off the race at 8:30 a.m. The course passes historic homes on tree-lined streets and features live music at the 5K/10K split and at various points throughout the course and then returns through Uptown Shelby to cross the finish line back at the Don Gibson Theatre with live music and refreshments in the reception area.

Mush, Music and Mutts Festival

Dogs in costume, a beauty pageant, live music and a liver mush eating contest….what else could you possibly ask for in a festival? Bring the whole family to the two day festival which will begin Friday night at 6:30 pm with live music, a chili cook off and NC Craft Beer tasting.
