Local law enforcement and first responders will have displays and exhibits set up for the community and visitors to learn and have a better understanding of the services they provide.
7th Inning Stretch Festival
August 11, 2018
8 to 10 pm
Location: Shelby, NC
The 6th annual 7th Inning Stretch Festival will be held August 11 in Uptown Shelby. The day begins with a 5K at 8:00 am. A percentage of the proceeds from the 5K will go to the family of Fallen Officer Tim Brackeen. Back again this year by popular demand is the Little Miss American Legion World Series Pageant to be held at 10:00 am in the Don Gibson Theatre. The festival will be held from 3:00 to 10:00 pm. The headliner Randy Owen of Alabama will appear at 8:30 pm on the AmericInn Stage.
